Hi, Are there any plans to try to get the Feist breed registered with AKC? I inquired to the AKC about getting them recognized and was sent paperwork to do so. However, I feel it would be better accepted coming with the support of the Mountain Feist Association rather than me doing it as an individual. I'm happy to fill out and submit the paperwork and necessary info, but I would like to know if the MFA would be in favor or against it. I think this breed has a lot to offer and I would like to see it flourish in not just UKC but AKC as well.

Due to COVID-19 safety concerns and state regulations in place for the host state of these events, the following adjustments have been made to the UKC upcoming events calendar.

THE FOLLOWING UKC LICENSED EVENTS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED INDEFINITELY:
-Feist World
-Purina Nationals

THE FOLLOWING UKC LICENSED EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELED:
-Beagle Nationals (The All-Star Series National Chase portion of this event will be rescheduled for a later date in 2020).
-Shed Dog Nationals

If you have paid your entry to either of the two canceled events listed above, you will be refunded.

THE FOLLOWING UKC MAJOR EVENT WILL SEE AN ENTRY ADJUSTMENT:
-UKC Premier entries, originally scheduled to open on April 6th and close on May 6th, will now open on April 20th and close May 15th.
-Top Ten/All Star entries, originally scheduled to open March 23rd, will open with regular Premier entries on April 20th.

I know it’s early for the 2021 season but are any dates for the Mount Orab MFA events established yet? I know there seems to be a hunt there in the Spring and one in the Fall. I’m having to schedule my vacation days and didn’t know if they were both held on the same weekends, each year... I’ve looked on the “events” section here, but nothing seems to be scheduled that far in advance... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. 👍
